The notice about the dragon boat race finally came out last Friday. I was excited because my father was on a race team!

In the morning, my dad woke up early. We went to the river later and waited for the race. Then the judge counted down and the race began! I ran and cheered for my dad. His boat was very fast.

Finally, his team won the race! They all sang their team song together. They were so happy!

In the evening, our family made zongzi and had a big dinner for the festival, and for the winner, my dad! It was the best Dragon Boat Festival ever!
